Extra Large Playspace VR Minigames

Minigames for massive play-space sizes, one of the first series of minigames that allows you to play outside with up to football field size levels where you have to be agile and on your feet, dodging enemies,  jumping across gaps, crawling through small spaces, and making it past deadly traps.  Extra Large Playspace VR Minigames introduces a new VR mechanic for height based jump detection which is used for when you jump over gaps.

Standing mode is available for the minigames if you can't find a place to place either indoors or outdoors.  Please read the safety guide for set up and tips to help avoid damaging your headset.

Standing Mode: All games supported

• Agility dodge minigames:  

Dodge large incoming obstacles and enemies. 3 stages with 8 levels each. Stage and fast mode can be unlocked. each level requires a new approach

Size 15x15 meters, 3 minigames

• Temple Chase minigames Collect a number of chests using the key in your right hand.  Avoid being hit by missiles or being taken by the enemies.

Size 30x30 meters, 2 minigames

• Adventure Mode: You are a treasure hunter and you need to collect 4 keys scattered in a dangerous temple that contains traps and enemies. Explore an ancient ruin and avoid touching any wall or object.  Touching anything will result in the temple collapsing.

50x50 meters, 1 minigame

This game is still very experimental and the Quest 2 is not meant to be played outside and played beyond its normal boundaries. Avoid any direct sunlight and only play when the sun is not visible. Cloudy days can work, but not all the time.  Best time to play is at either dawn or dusk.  The lighting conditions must be perfect in order for the game to track.

If the lighting conditions are not correct your headset will not track unless you reset it and try in a different lighting environment.  If after multiple tries the headset does not track, it means that the lighting conditions are either too dark, or too bright.  You will need to bring it back inside and reset it there.

Please make sure that your headset properly calibrates the floor and that your play space is as flat as a football field. any changes in slope will affect jump tracking.  you must be able to jump at least 1ft above the ground. Make sure you jump high so your head is above the jump threshold (Jump standing as tall as you can). thresholds are placed in-between the jumping gaps.

For large playspace sizes disable your boundaries.
